What to present on Holiday?

This weekend was officially opened the Holiday Shopping.

I think it;s time ti think seriously about Holidays gifts, about what you'll wear in the New Year night and what to present to your family: parents, children and husband.

I like to present gifts, especially on Holidays. I like to plug the lights on the tree.
Great Holidays... Great Gifts and happiness.

You can shows your respect and love for close persons namely on this time. It means that the gifts that you are ready to present them should show your love and admiration.

What to present on this Holiday? maybe, tees, balls, towels, club covers, visors and so on. The list of gifts are so long that sometime is impossible to read the end.

So, what to present on Holiday to my husband?

Time Bomb

You need: A clock or an egg timer.

How to play: Pick a time interval -- 20 minutes, let's say. (If you're like us, even 10 minutes will be a change from the norm.)

Whatever interval you choose, absolutely do not allow penetration until that much time has elapsed.

Why: Most busy couples have foreplay down to a science -- and a bare minimum as well. "Time Bomb" refocuses you on the pregame show, the part that used to be so much fun before you lived together.

You'll be surprised by how much slowing down changes things. You get really creative. You get really hot.

The retro housewife

What does the Retro housewife day look like? Well, we get up, get our kids off to school, pack our hubbies a sandwich and wish them a safe drive. Then our day is OPEN? Some of us watch Oprah or the Soaps, some have a regular routine, for housewives with children our lives revolve around them and their activities, some paint do charity work...or maybe we run a home based business.

Some Retros have money, and for them running the house is comparable to running a small company, managing the staff, scheduling the projects, projecting an image of perfection to the outside world.

The best Retros understand that their purpose is to make life worth living for themselves and their families. That, no matter their income level or social status, they are the center of their families universe and the one who has the difficult task of making the most out of whatever resources are available to them.

In keeping a house, the job is to make it a home. In raising children, it is to turn out well balanced emotionally stable human beings that have the confidence and personal convictions they will need to make their way productively and happily in life. In being a wife, our job is one of support, confidante, companion, lover and best friend.

No small order, but in the end, we are the ones that make the difference in the lives of the other members of our families. Whoever coined the term "little woman" had not the slightest idea of what he spoke, for it is truly "the hand that rocks the cradle" that is an accurate depiction of our role.

Housewife such as a Profession!

I'm not a perfect house keeper. My home is clean, but lived in. I do keep it very clean. I sweep, vacuum and dust almost every day, but it doesn't look like a museum either.

But when this depression set in, my house, though I still swept every day, began to look like I didn't care anymore. Even my husband was troubled by it. You know I didn't go on any medication, I simply got a call from my best friend, after my hubby, bless his heart, called her out of concern.

She laid it on the line, and told me everything about my life she could only dream of having. I have a wonderful husband who loves me with a passion, would never even think of cheating on me, has never abused me, and would do anything to make me happy. I have three wonderful children, though not perfect, they do love me and I them. I have a nice home, and the ability to stay at home and take care of my family.


Ladies, you have to put yourself first. If you don't take care of you, who will?

If you don't take care of you, then you can't be there to take care of the ones you love. I use to have a career, work out, stayed healthy and fit, had a social life, took time out for a bath and a book.

Today I have a schedule again. You may think well why, you're only a house wife. Because being a house wife is like any other profession. If you want it to work you need to run it like a well oiled machine. Which includes every element I need to feel like I am functioning at my best.
