Are you a perfectionist?

We live in an imperfect world, yet we are constantly given the message that everything should be perfect: our homes, our garden, our children and ourselves.

According to scientists, this obsession with perfection is one of the main causes of stress and depression nowadays – nobody ever thinks they are good enough.

But is doings things perfectly a positive thing? Some experts are not so sure.

I would like to write in my post about one example of “perfection”.
It would be about a perfect housewife.

So, she keeps her house in perfect order, thinks about everything her partner might want and makes an enormous effort to keep herself fit and fashionable.

She is always busy and is admired by everyone who knows her.

But, according to specialists in stress, the reality is that her partner is probably wishing he lived with somebody who was more relaxed and would let him put their feet up on the sofa in the evening.
